Naomi Takeuchi - President

In June 2002, Duke University approached Naomi Takeuchi to develop an Operational Efficiency course for the Duke Certificate Program in Nonprofit Management. At the time, she was a member of the Cisco Systems Community Fellowship Program where she had been assigned to work with several 501(c)(3) organizations to assist them in fund raising and project management efforts. Since that humble beginning,
1000 Cranes, LLC was created as a business consulting and management firm providing assistance to small businesses and nonprofits with customized solutions in business development, strategic planning and financial analysis. In November 2005, she was accepted into the National Speakers Association and is one of the few Asian-American women speaking nationwide.

Naomi has an undergraduate degree from the UC Berkeley and earned her Executive MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. With over twenty years of experience in the biotech and computer science fields working in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors, Naomi has taken her wealth of knowledge of high performance, profitable systems and has integrated these concepts into a customized consulting practice specializing in Social Enterprise and Entrepreneurship.

Ken Won - Office Manager

Ken joined 1000 Cranes in August 2004 as an office manager to handle the increasing requests for services.

Ken brings his wealth of experience of Federal systems based upon his nine year career as a staff sargeant in the US Airforce and over twenty years as a devoted worker for the US Postal Service earning several awards during his tenure. Ken has utilized this experience to ensure office operations at our new Regus facility are running smoothly.
