Lead Faith-Based Sessions at the Alliance for Nonprofit Management in Los Angeles
Los Angeles (August 4, 2006) - Naomi Takeuchi of 1000 Cranes Business Consulting and Chester A. France, Jr. of the C. Whitney Group, partnered at the Alliance for Nonprofit Conference in Los Angeles at two sessions. On Wednesday, August 2nd, Mr. France moderated the Faith Based Affinity Group Panel Discussion with Pat Henry, Mike Corbin and Naomi Takeuchi as panelists. Later, on Friday, August 4th, Ms. Takeuchi and Mr. France led the session, "Serving the Faith-Based Sector" to attendees.
After meeting at the Alliance Conference in Washington, DC in July 2004, both realized there was a clear need to provide consultants and nonprofit practitioners comprehensive information on how to better serve this community and its unique needs. Both are members of the Alliance for Nonprofit Management's Faith-Based Affinity Group and work with their local faith communities in capacity building activities.
